Headfield Junction
View from Bretton Street overbridge looking along what was latterly the Railway Street branch towards Headfield Junction. The Market Place line continued ahead through the stone arch and the line to Railway Street goods yard turned off to the right under the steel bridge to cross both Mill Street East and the River Calder en route. Not aware if stone is still being delivered periodically to the yard on the right, although it looks probable. See image 53805 for a view in the opposite direction.
