Rose Grove Shed
Looking refreshed after a shower of rain, Johnson 3F 0-6-0 43734 and Jinty 0-6-0T 47660 stand alongside Rose Grove shed, thought to be in early 1963. 43734 had been officially withdrawn the previous September and was eventually cut up by Messrs Campbell at Shieldhall in May 1963. 47660 continued to operate from here until March 1964 at which point it was transferred to Newton Heath. Rose Grove shed itself closed in August 1968.
