MV Isle of Mull passing Lady's Rock, at the south end of Lismore, en route from Craignure to Oban.
Isle of Mull was brand new, having only just been brought into use on that route in 1988 taking over from MV Caledonia. She remains in operation on the same route to the present (2016).
As pointed out by Colin Miller - this is her in her original state, before being extended by 20 feet in the late 1980s. See image 54190 for a view of her after lengthening.
