Tollerton
A view looking east at the extremely shabby rail overbridge over the east coast main line on Station Road at Tollerton north of York. It is expected that this bridge will be replaced shortly as last part of a programme of installing five new structures from Beninborough to Forest Lane Alne. The bridges at these two locations were completed last year and the next two towards Beninborough are nearing completion. See image 53753. Station Road will be closed for some 6 months once work gets underway, but a new bridge will give a vast improvement in appearance. See image 79592 for a 2019 view of the new bridge
