View north from the top of the yard hump looking towards the Port Talbot works in 2011. Sidings only remain in the eastern edge of the yard to the right and the wagon repair sidings are distant on the left. If you have a copy of The Illustrated History of British Marshalling Yards by Michael Rhodes, turn to page 64 (be prepared to weep). Ahead the area of ballast marks where sidings were laid temporarily for a few years in the early 2000s.
