Peebles [1st]
In 2000 this showroom stood on the site of the original Peebles terminus. The view looks north. This site is now occupied by flats. The March Street Mills are off to the left and to the right was the extension of the line east to Galashiels via the 'new' Peebles station.
This station became known as 'Peebles Old' after closure to passengers, being retained for goods, a sawmill and later the March Street Mills.
