Svensta
This Fiat-built Y1 diesel railcar is normally only seen on the Inlandsbanan i.e. the non-electrifed North-South route between Mora and Gällivare. That route shares a short section with Mittbanan east of Östersund. These units have also been seen west of Östersund as here at Svensta Level Crossing west of Järpen. The crossing is open. It has an overhead height limit indicator on wooden poles and a mirror for visual confirmation that the track is clear seen here obscuring part of the railbus front window. A light is provided to warn for the approach of oncoming trains see image 57536 and see image 57524.
