Shettleston Junction
The bridge which carries the Shettleston Loop as well as the line to Airdrie (and now through to Edinburgh) over Gartocher Road receives a thorough inspection over several days in May 2016. A second and now disused bridge which carried the Glasgow, Bothwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge Railway over the road is still in place just beyond the advertisment hoardings to the right.
