Tweedbank
Travelling on the Borders Railway for the first time this photographer just happened to find a charter train waiting when he arrived so this is actually a grab shot en passant.
BR Class 55 Deltic 'Alycidon' at Tweedbank Station's Platform 2 at the head of Pathfinder Deltic Borderer II. Most passengers seem to have wandered off to Melrose and back before leaving on the return journey to Derby. Two service trains were cancelled to make way for this special train.
