Kirknewton
The pedestrian entrance to Kirknewton station from Station Road in September 2002. The memorable 1848 'B' listed station building, designed by Sir William Tite, is now a private residence. The unique design, with its severe angular structure, pseudo-castellations, ball finials etc. etc.. always conjures up thoughts of the aftermath of an architects wild night out.
