Vitznau
The compact arrangements at Vitznau, on the shore of Lake Lucerne. The depot is accessed by the turntable, which has a straight and curved line and is kept busy throughout the day. Here a vintage carriage that has just returned from a charter trip to Rigi summit is returned to its depot road by the resident shunter. The rail platforms are in the foreground with the ornate lake steamer station behind.
