Preston
Freightliner 90042 waits at the north end of platform 4 at Preston in the early hours of 16 July 2016. The loco is one of the Freightliner Class 90s on hire to GBRF in order to work the Caledonian Sleeper services. This particular service was the 1S25 Highland Sleeper which normally runs from Euston to Inverness with some coaches coming off at Edinburgh for Aberdeen and Fort William however on this morning the main portion was only advertised to Perth.
