Rothorn
Close up of the motion of Rothorn Bahn locomotive No.16 during a short layover at the summit station. The outward appearance is of an 0-4-2T but the rail wheels carry only and all propulsion is via the Abt rack system. The 3rd generation locomotive was built in 1992 for the Rochers-de-Naye railway in Montreux and transferred to Brienz in 2005.
