Uppsala Central
Arriving on Track 8 (whose platform was recently rebuilt to 'international standard' length of about 800m or half a mile long) is a Coradia X40 double decker EMU. It is heading south (away from the camera) to Stockholm forming the 14.06 departure. Built by Bombardier for SJ AB it is based on the SNCF Class Z 26500. They usually operate as 2 or 3 coach units and as 5 (2+3) or 6 (3+3) coaches in multiple. The upper deck windows not only give good views of the passing scenery but also extreme closeups of the OHLE.
The bay platform on the right is used by local services to Sala and yes, the buildings in the background ARE meant to be leaning towards the station!
