Finmere
Conventional wisdom has it that there is no track on the GCR trackbed between Claydon LNE Junction and Leicester North. However, the Network South East Railway Society has a base at Finmere, where 73.130 is seen showing off its Scharfenburg coupler (intended to couple up to Nightstar stock before that scheme was abandoned). See also image 56512. HS2 is likely to pass this way.
