Strathclyde Junction
Coming together. View south approximately half way between Dalmarnock station and the River Clyde on 1 April 2007. To the left is the trackbed of the high level Switchback, while on the right the Glasgow Central Railway has almost completed its climb up from Dalmarnock station. The two routes came together at Strathclyde Junction just south of here, before crossing the River to reach Rutherglen.
