A 'Peak' hauled Anglo-Scottish service southbound at Ardoch, midway between Sanquhar and Carronbridge, in the summer of 1961, with the River Nith off to the left. The train is the 1600 Glasgow St Enoch – Leeds City and is displaying an incorrect reporting code, which should read 1N63. [Ref query 165]
