Ordsall Chord
Looking north along Water Street with the first bridge carrying the Ordsall Jct (left) to Castlefields Jct line. The viaduct here is being widened to accommodate the south end of the new Ordsall Chord and two new bridge sections are waiting in a compound to the right to be lifted into place, possibly during an extended closure over Christmas and New Year, starting on the 18th.
