Taken from the inside of 'The Prospector' train is an L Class diesel-electric loco encountered in a siding at a station (possibly Koolyanobbing) in the outback between Perth and Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. This type of loco, built by Clyde Engineering (New South Wales not Scotland) was used to haul iron ore freight trains from Koolyanobbing to Kwinana and also hauled the Indian-Pacific passenger train.
