St Ninians Level Crossing
Work has started on the contractor's compound for the construction of the St. Ninian's (Millhall Road) pedestrian bridge which will replace a particularly dangerous foot crossing. According to Network Rail 'Millhall Road is already Scotland’s highest risk pedestrian level crossing – with one fatal accident and six near misses since 2010 – and faster, quieter electric trains will further increase the safety risk at the crossing'.
