Cardross
Southbound alumina empties run alongside the Clyde Cardross on 03/03/2017. The Lochaber Smelter has relatively recently (November 2016) transferred from rio Tinto to a new owner GFG Alliance. The new owner has ambitious plans for an alloy wheel plant and car parts manufacturing at the aluminium works site. Perhaps a future source of freight for the railway.
