Hanekenfaehre
012 080 forges north at Hanekenfaehre with train D1731 Muenster to Norddeeich Mole, which was booked to depart Rheine at 09:12. This was the last Saturday of the summer service and the last occasion on which this train was steam-hauled, hence the grocers at the windows of the leading coach. The cooling tower and chimney in the left background belong to Lingen nuclear power station. 7th September 1974
