Margam Halt

The line from Port Talbot Harbour to the main line as can be seen it has not been used a number of years, probably since steelmaking ceased at Llanwern in 2001.

Curiously, when they built the new distributor road they had to build a temporary entrance to the work and they lifted a section of track and the embankment to allow vehicle access while that new over bridge was built. They then replaced the embankment and relaid the track but as far as I know there has never been a train down there. The relaid section is just the other side of the bridge just after the magnet.
