Bare Lane
The one and only. The third Northern rail strike on 280417 meant there were no passenger trains on the Morecambe branch. DRS 37259 therefore had a clear run through a near deserted Bare Lane, 40 minutes ahead of schedule. 66301 was the tail loco on this occasion. The couple on the platform had also just come to watch the flasks pass through.
