Powderhall Loop
The rusting tracks of the Powderhall branch, looking south east from Powderhall Road towards Leith Walk on 17 April 2017, more than two months after the last 'Binliner' ran. The heavily buttressed wall on the right will be one of many pleased at the cessation in daily vibrations caused by traffic on the branch see image 13859. Powderhall depot is due to close completely at the end of 2018 when the new facility at Millerhill comes on stream.
