Golborne South
This is the site of Golborne South station, on the WCML which closed in 1961. The old ticket office was in the bricked up section of the bridge above the pier and the station footbridge (the lattice structure crossing the slow lines) has been modified post electrification and recommissioned to carry the southerly footpath of the A573.
