Cologne
Cologne's distinctive station roof frames a dual ICE set arriving from the east on 30th May 2017. This was the third of the photographer's four interchanges on a rail journey which began at 05.40 at Edinburgh Waverley and ended in Hornberg (in the heart of the Black Forest) at 22.30 (mainland European time) the same day.
