Hartlepool
A Grand Central service from Sunderland leaves the first stop at Hartlepool taking the sharp curve as it heads for Kings Cross on 24th June 2017. 43468 is the trailing power car. The small notice reminds rail staff that the Down Line is bidirectional serving the stations only through platform. The Up Line is still used by freight traffic and the bay Platform 2 line in the foreground also sees occasional terminating trains.
