Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Northern 150277 calls at Blackpool Pleasure Beach on a service for Colne on 16th June 2017. This station opened in 1987 and is now used by over 100,000 passengers per year so will be a significant contributor to receipts on the Blackpool South branch. On the right of the picture houses on Burlington Rd can be seen. Burlington Road was a halt at this location for railmotor services between Blackpool and Lytham. It opened in 1913 and closed in 1949, but this station opened on the same spot in 1987.
