Edinburgh Waverley
Another bonus resulting from the platform 12 extension work at Waverley will be the relocation of the escalator linking the western concourse and the cross-station walkway alongside platform 11. Installed at the end of 2013 its position has always irked me in the same way as a crooked picture frame see image 50992. The changes will see the escalator repositioned parallel with the walkway [see new station layout diagram]. The offending structure is seen here on 13 July 2017 looking east along platform 11.
