Bogside Junction

In a forest stands a buffer. This is the stub of the Snodgrass (Bogside) branch now cut back to close to the junction. The view looks to the junction. Initially a mineral line for Bartonholm Coal Pit No 1 it was later used as secondary access to the Ardeer works carrying both goods and, for a while, workers trains.
