Having read the article in Railways illustrated on the 08s, I enclose a shot of 08 077 at Wiggins Teape Corpach in 1984. It was un-numbered at the time. New to Severn tunnel junction in Feb 1955, it was withdrawn from Cambridge Depot in 1977. Sold to Wiggins Teape in 1978 it worked at Corpach till 1990. It was moved to RFS at Doncaster and then sold to Freightliner in 1996. At the time it was the oldest 08 in main line use. It was finally cut up at Ward's recycling at Barton under Needwood in May 2014. A long and varied career.
