Hausen im Tal
A classic scene in the Danube gorge at Hausen im Tal on 7th June 2017. An eastbound Donaueschingen-Ulm IRE service awaits departure from this loop station on the Tuttlingen-Sigmaringen single-track railway, with its platform signalling centre - but there is only one platform, so two stopping passenger services cannot cross here. In the background is Schloss Werenwag, one of several such castles which characterise this stretch of the Danube.
