Glenormiston Halt
I had a pleasant stroll along the Tweed Valley Railway Path from Cardrona to Innerleithen. The local authority provides information boards which advise that at Howford Crossing was a lengthman's cottage, currently being extended, next to which was a Glenormiston Halt, provided for the owner of Glenormiston House, publisher William Chambers. The original Glenormiston House was demolished in 1956.
