Blackpool North
An evening view of Blackpool North on Friday 10th November 2017, its last full day of services before a nineteen week closure for electrification modernisation. Work continues in the foreground on the new Platforms 1 & 2. Tracks on the surviving Platforms 3-6 were lifted immediately after the closure period commenced. Signalling on the electrified line to Preston will be controlled from Manchester.
