An Inverness to Edinburgh service pulls out of the ever-quiet Edinburgh
Gateway on the morning of 9 November. Lying behind each lamp post was a
shiny new column waiting to replace it, less than a year after the station
opened, and indeed since then they have been replaced. I couldn't possibly comment.
