Ashton Swing Bridge (Preston)
The speed whiskers on 15mph limited NS663 are perhaps a little superfluous but it makes a fine sight crossing the Ashton Swing Bridge with a Santa Special on 10th December 2017. The former Dutch Railways loco only has air brakes but the steam loco provided the train's vacuum brakes - and the very necessary steam heating.
