Wyre Viaduct
Refurbishment of the Viaduct over the River Wyre at Scorton meant a closure of the WCML between Lancaster and Preston from 24th to 27th December. The upper picture looks north along Station Lane with machines busy on the embankment to the south of the bridge. The lower image is of the work taking place on the bridge itself, both taken on 24th December 2017.
