Brownrigg Colliery
View west on the North Monkland Railway. The location is close to the former Longriggend Remand Institution. Going west the North Monkland crossed over the extension of the Dykehead Branch before serving the Brownrigg Colliery.
Much of the North Monkland line passed through bleak high moorland.
