A look inside a Class 314, due to be scrapped this year in the Class 385 cascade. They look not too bad for their years, though they do lack toilets, automatic announcments (a blessing?), disabled space, visual displays and even door buttons. The lack of buttons is a particular issue at termini in the winter, when the open doors ensure that the inside temperature equalizes with the outside.
