At Aberdeen Waterloo on 4th October, tanks of imported china clay slurry await movement south to Caledonian Paper at Irvine and Iggesund at Workington. The three tramwayed sidings of Aberdeen Harbour Board's yard, on the left, have seen no commercial rail traffic since being constructed more than five years ago.
