Roslin

After leaving Roslin station the EL&R passed below the B7006, which carried the village's Main Street over the formation. Passenger services on the branch ceased in 1933 although freight operations continued for many years, including links to Roslin Colliery and brickworks located beyond the bridge. The line was cut back to Bilston Glen Colliery in 1966. Since closure the old bridge has been the subject of major 'modifications', presumably for strengthening purposes.
