No signs of activity in or around the platform 5 & 6 works compound at Waverley, seen looking east from the cross-station walkway on the morning of 8 February 2018. Just visible on the right is the rear of the 1030 to Glasgow Queen Street at platform 11, while the sleeper locomotive stabled alongside the south wall is 92018.
