View from the station walkway at Waverley on 8 February 2018, with traincrew, passengers, catering staff and British Transport Police all going about their business. At the recently extended platform 12 is the 1027 to Glasgow Central, while the train at 11 is the 1030 to Glasgow Queen Street. Although it will leave 3 minutes later, the latter service will reach its destination 28 minutes earlier than the former.
