The Voestalpine VAE works was fomerly known as Baileyfield S&C (switch and
crossing) and is still making points and the like as it has been doing for
over 100 years. Ironically, it is no longer rail-served although there is
still a vegetation choked physical connection with the rusting Leith South
branch. The gates in the middle distance show where the siding entered
with the branch beyond it. Looking towards Leith on 8th February 2018.
