Corkickle Brake
Looking east from High Road bridge along the old industrial branch towards the top of the Corkickle Brake Incline in March 2018. The line closed in 1986 and, although the rails have been lifted, most of the sleepers are still in place along this section. The brake house at the top of the incline was just beyond the surviving level crossing gate but has been demolished. Cumbria Railways Site
