Elizabeth Dock, one of the two main docks in Maryport Harbour in March 2018. From the 1850s there were sidings on both sides of this dock, which was part of a busy commercial port. However, in 1927 Workington opened a deep sea dock and the commercial traffic at Maryport quickly fell away with the harbour railway sidings closing in 1930. Nowadays this dock sees only fishing vessels and adjacent Senhouse Dock, once also rail served, is a marina.
