Waiting for a train at the east end of Waverley on a wet Saturday morning in April 2018. The VT West Coast Pendolino is the 1018 arrival from Birmingham New Street. (This terminated service runs ecs from here to Polmadie Depot.) Over on the right boarding at platform 9 is the ScotRail 1043 service to North Berwick.
