Fergushill Colliery No 29 Pit
Looking north east along the course of one of the spurs off the Doura branch at the site of Fergushill Colliery, Pit number 29. The line ran up the left hand side of the picture along the line of the fence and joined the main branch at Sourlie Pit. The clump of trees and fence on the right hand side mark the site of the shaft which has settled a little below the level of the surrounding ground.
