Crewkerne
There was just time for this shot of the train after arrival at the Somerset town of Crewkerne in 1988 before being whisked away in a waiting car. The distinctive outline of the Class 50 loco with a single headlight gives away both the area and era. This is the nearest station for West Dorset destinations such as Bridport and Lyme Regis when arriving from London although Taunton could be more convenient for other destinations.
